My Story: How the Healing Hub Was Born

 

For most of my life, emotional eating felt like a secret battle I was fighting alone.

I knew what to eat. I knew how to diet.

But when emotions hit — stress, overwhelm, loneliness, pressure — I found myself turning to food for comfort.

And every time I promised I’d “start again tomorrow,” I felt more defeated.

Nothing changed… until I changed how I healed.

The turning point

 

One day I realised something powerful:

I didn’t need more rules.

I needed regulation.

I needed emotional support.

I needed tools that actually calmed my system.

So I began tapping — first every so often, then consistently.

I started using visualisation to shift my emotional state.

I added simple breathing techniques to soothe the stress that used to send me straight to food.

 

At first, it was just small moments of peace.

Then something surprising happened…

I didn’t need food in the same way anymore.

I wasn’t fighting urges — they were simply softer.

I wasn’t battling my body — I was finally listening to it.

And the more I tapped, breathed, and visualised, the more my entire life began shifting.

It didn’t just help my emotional eating — it helped everything

  • My anxiety settled

  • My sleep improved

  • My cravings quietened

  • My self-talk softened

  • My nervous system felt calmer and more grounded

  • I felt more in control, more aligned, more me

I realised I wasn’t fixing emotional eating —

I was healing the emotional patterns underneath it.

And once I understood that, something inside me lit up.

 

The Healing Hub was born from my own daily practice

I created the Healing Hub because I needed a place that kept me:

  • consistent

  • supported

  • motivated

  • connected

  • on track with my healing

I wanted a space where I could tap every day without thinking about what to say.

Somewhere with guided breathing when I felt overwhelmed.

Somewhere with visualisations to shift my energy when I felt stuck.

Somewhere that reminded me:

“You are healing. Keep going.”

And now… I’ve opened that space for others.
